Aroma Aromas of grapefruit, fig, and gunpowder tea are stylishly complex and a little closed, with well-integrated but substantial wood.
Flavor Oily, rich texture, with understated citrus and cashew elements.
Balance Good acidity. Good candidates to lay down for a couple years, as one would a good white Bordeaux.
PRODUCTION CORRELATIONS
Terroir Clay loams on the Valley floor are cool by daily winds from the Pacific drawn across the Livermore Valley by warm rising air in the Central Valley.
