Byington Winery is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains at a 2,000 foot elevation. The Italianate winery overlooks an estate vineyard with sweeping views of the Monterey Bay and provides the perfect setting for sipping wine or celebrating special occasions. Founded in 1987 by wine collector and business entrepreneur Bill Byington, the winery houses a 25,000-case wine production facility, tasting room and grand reception rooms. For all of its tranquil beauty and celebratory air, Byington is principally a winery, specializing in Chardonnay and red Bordeaux-style wines.

Visiting the Winery

We are located 5.5 miles off of Highway 17 outside of the town of Los Gatos. Visitors are welcome daily from 11am - 5pm for complimentary tasting. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic or use one of our barbecues and enjoy the grounds for the day.
