Winemaker: Caris Turpen
An Emmy™-winning filmmaker, Caris turned to winemaking as a stress-reducing hobby in 1995 while working on the TV series 'Wishbone'. Hobby-winemaking led to going back to school and getting her degree in Enology and Viticulture in 1998. She and husband Terry opened LightCatcher to the public in 2002, with their 2001 vintage wines. They bought property and built a larger winery with expanded operations in 2003.

We have an active 'Passport to Pleasure' Wine Club where members receive wines monthly, at a discount, and can order wines at additional savings.
