Nestled on just under 12 acres of Bucks County's rolling hills, the Desiato family has brought a taste of Italy to their little domain. Wines are made the old-fashioned way, simple and deliciously drinkable. From bold reds, vinted from black grape varieties such as Marechal Foch, Fredonia and Cabernet Sauvignon to the crisp, clean whites handcrafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Gris, this little winery exudes no airs of distinction other than the friendly, family-like atmosphere that captures your spirit when you enter the barn. A table is usually set with some sharp Provolone cheese from Italy and marinated olives prepared by Mrs. Desiato. Some kind of bread or cracker is also available to clean the palate between tastings.
