Laurel Glen was established by Patrick and Faith Campbell in 1977. The Laurel Glen vineyards, most of which are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, now encompass some 35 acres in 9 contiguous blocks on the red, rocky, volcanic eastern facing slopes of Sonoma Mountain. The wines that come from this 1000' elevation above Glen Ellen are concentrated, powerful reds with real character. Laurel Glen Cabernet Sauvignon is recognized as a leading fine wine from Sonoma Mountain, a real expression of mountain fruit.
