Lynfred Winery is the oldest and largest, continuously-operating, bonded winery in Illinois, producing over 50 varietals and 30,000 cases of fine wine per year. Since 1979 Lynfred Winery has offered guests the finest vintages, gourmet cuisine and luxurious lodging.

Visiting the Winery
Greetings from Lynfred Winery! We would be delighted to have you stop in to
see us! The winery is open every day from 10 am to 7 pm. The last tasting
we sell for the day is at 6:15 pm. Wine tasting is available any time of
the day for $9.00 per person (includes 7 wines for each guest) and $7.00 for wine
club members. We always offer a premium wine as well for an additional price.
Hungry? While Lynfred Winery does not have a restaurant, we do have two accredited chefs
working for Lynfred! Chefs Chris Smith and Joe Hetman not only cook for the Bed & Breakfast
Suites, but also create snacks to go plates for $4.50 (cheese, chocolate, fruit or anti-pasto).
Don't forget to grab a loaf of our fresh bread or homemade chocolates while you're here!
Lynfred also offers complimentary tours of the cellar on Saturday and Sunday at 2
pm and 4 pm (from January – October). Reservations are not required, but we do recommend calling ahead
to make sure the tours are available due to private events at 630.529.9463.
