Prince Michel Vineyards and Winery is one of Virginia's oldest and largest wine estates. Phenomenal views of vineyards and mountains are the perfect backdrop for our internationally acclaimed wines. Enjoy a self-guided tour of the state-of-the-art winemaking facility followed by a complementary wine tasting in the incredible "see through" tasting room atop the winery. The ingenious architecture offers panoramic views of the barrel room and cellar. The gift shop has become a destination unto itself, and the knowledgeable, enthusiastic staff make any visit memorable.

Prince Michel is also the perfect venue for private or corporate events and exclusive private tours for groups. Choose from sunlit atriums to exquisitely decorated banquet rooms and a tasting library. Outside courtyards, patios, and acres of rolling hills and vineyards further enhance your experience. Visiting the Winery

A scenic drive north on Route 29 through the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains transports you to the beauty and gracious hospitality of Prince Michel Vineyards and Winery. Ten minutes south of historic Culpeper and 30 minutes north of Charlottesville on Route 29, Prince Michel is also short drive from Washington D.C. by taking I-66 west to Route 29 south (exit 43). Remain on Route 29 with vineyards and Winery located on the right. Open daily 10-6 excluding major holidays.
